EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE DEGREE
1.1 To qualify for the Master of Education degree, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
(a) 10 cp from the Core unit;
(b) 70 cp from across the range of units offered.
1.2 To qualify for the Master of Education degree with a named specialisation, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
(a) 10 cp from the Core unit;
(b) at least 40 cp from Education Specialisation units;
(c) up to 30 cp from postgraduate Electives, which may include up to 20 cp from units offered by another Faculty.
1.2 A student who has completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Education may be granted advanced standing.
2. EXIT POINT
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education may exit with that award.
