EFTSL value of units:   All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1.          REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE DEGREE

1.1        A student may pursue an interdisciplinary or research-based pathway.

1.2        To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

(a)        30 cp from the Combined Interdisciplinary and Research Core units;

(b)        for the Interdisciplinary Pathway:

(i)         20 cp from the Interdisciplinary Pathway Core units; and

             (ii)         30cp from Electives;

(c)        for the Research Pathway:

(i)         30 cp from the Research Pathway Core units; and

             (ii)         20cp from Elective units.

1.3         A student who has completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Child Protection and Communities or Postgraduate Certificate in Citizenship and Human Rights may be granted advanced standing.

2.          EXIT POINTS

A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Postgraduate Certificate in Child Protection and Communities or Postgraduate Certificate in Citizenship and Human Rights may exit from the course with the relevant award.
