EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

 

1.          DEFINITIONS

“Liberal Arts Major”: an approved sequence of units in one discipline (excluding Theological Studies) or in an approved interdisciplinary area totalling at least 80 cp.

 

“Liberal Arts Minor”: an approved sequence of units in one discipline (excluding Theological Studies) or in an approved interdisciplinary area totalling at least 40cp.

 

“Theology Major”: an approved sequence of units in Biblical Studies and/or Christian Thought and/or Christian Practice (excluding the core units), totalling at least 80 cp.

 

   “Theology Double Major”: an approved sequence of units in Biblical Studies and/or Christian Thought and/or Christian Practice (excluding the core units) totalling at least 160cp.

 

2.         REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE PASS DEGREE

To qualify for the Pass degree, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

 

(a)     70cp from core units;

(b)     10 cp from Philosophy units;

(c)     80 cp from a Major in Theology;

(d)      80 cp from:

(i)       1 Major in Liberal Arts;

(ii)      1 additional Major in Theology;

(iii)     2 Minors in Liberal Arts; or

(iv)      an alternative sequence approved by the Course Co-ordinator.

 

3.          REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE HONOURS DEGREE

To qualify for the Honours degree a student must, in addition to satisfying the requirements of the Pass degree, complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Honours Units.
