EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE DEGREE
1.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of:
(a) 20 cp from Core units;
(b) 100 cp from Electives.
1.2 A candidate who has:
(a) completed postgraduate studies in ethics or the equivalent; and
(b) at least three years relevant experience;
may be eligible for advanced standing.
2. EXIT POINTS
2.1 The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Arts (Applied Ethics) are available only as exit points from the Master’s degree.
2.2 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Graduate Diploma in Arts (Applied Ethics):
80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
(a) 20 cp from Core units;
(b) 60 cp from Electives.
2.3 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Graduate Certificate in Arts (Applied Ethics):
40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
(a) 20 cp from Core units;
(b) 20 cp from Electives.
