EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1.          REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE GRADUATE DIPLOMA

To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings as follows:

(1)         Graduate Diploma in Music (Composition)

(a)        20 cp from Composition A units;

(b)        20 cp from Music Composition B units;

(c)        40 cp from Electives.

(2)         Graduate Diploma in Music (Performance)

(a)        20 cp from Performance A units;

(b)        20 cp from Performance B units;

(c)        40 cp from Electives.

2.          EXIT POINTS

2.1        The Graduate Certificate in Music is available only as an exit point from the Graduate Diploma course.

2.2         A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Graduate Certificate in Music (Composition):

40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

(a)        20 cp from Composition A units;

(b)        20 cp from Electives.

2.3         A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Graduate Certificate in Music (Performance):

40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

(a)        20 cp from Performance A units;

(b)        20 cp from Electives.
