This unit focuses on examining curriculum theories, practice and related issues, and addresses how to integrate health and physical education into other curriculum areas. In addition, exposure to existing health and physical education programs, both local and national, will enable preservice teachers to develop a 'best practice' approach utilising existing programs to provide a comprehensive and quality program for their students. These programs can be applied in the final professional experience placement.
