This unit examines curriculum and practice in Physical, Sport and Health Education. The effective development, implementation and assessment of a comprehensive Physical Education and Health curriculum can integrate into curriculum units and be applied to professional practice.

An understanding of curricula both local and national which is specific to Catholic, State and Independent schools will provide the focus of the unit. The unit will outline the importance of Personal Development Education in the pre-school and primary school settings highlighting the health and wellbeing of students.
