1. Admission as a Candidate
To gain entry to the Graduate Certificate a person must apply for admission and be offered a place in the course47. Candidates must:
(a) |
have completed: |
|
(i) |
a Bachelor degree in Arts, Science or Commerce; |
|
(ii) |
the equivalent of 2 years of substantial study in the area in which students will undertake curricular and method studies; |
and |
|
|
(b) |
demonstrate competence in English48,49 |
2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Certificate
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a student must complete 140 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
(a) |
60 cp from Professional Studies; |
(b) |
60 cp from Curriculum Studies, including |
|
(i) |
20 cp from Core units; and |
|
(ii) |
40 cp from Electives; |
(c) |
20 cp from Professional Practice. |
